Wednesday: Reykjavik-Nuuk 11.45-13.05
With Air Iceland directly from Reykjavik to Nuuk - the Capital of Greenland. Transfer from airport to Hotel Hans Egede****

Thursday: Nuuk
Day free at leisure.
Optional: Visit a Greenlandic Family for "coffee-mik" and learn more about the worlds most beautiful National Costume (See Excursion Packages)

Friday: Nuuk and on board M/S Sarfaq Ittuk
Day free at leisure. We suggest a visit to the National Museum - in the old part of Nuuk. Here you can also see the "mumies" found in Uummannaq area about 40 years ago. Very interesting story-telling about Greenland in different times. At 21.00 M/S Sarfaq Ittuk will depart. Latest boarding time is 20.30. When on board you will receive a key to your outisde cabin and here you will be staying the next 2 nights.

Saturday: Kangaamiut & Sisimiut
On board.
Todays arrivals: Kangaamiut & Sisimiut.
Sisimiut is the second largest city in Greenland. Beautiful with the hills and all the different colors of houses.

Sunday: Aasiaat and arrival Ilulissat
In the morning most people on board go outside and look for the Humpback Whale. Just outside Aasiaat harbor the giants normally play in the waters. The last many summers they have been here. Ofcourse we cannot guarantee the sight of these beautiful whales, but we are almost sure about it.
At 13.30 we will arrive Ilulissat. Transfer to Hotel Hvide Falk and a short information meeting will take place, after check-in.
Shortly after information meeting an optional City Sight Seeing will take place (See Excursion Packages)

Monday: Ilulissat
All day free at leisure. 2 optional excursions will take place today - all concentrated on the icefiord, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Thursday: Ilulissat-Reykjavik 11.30-18.45
Time to say goodbye to the Capital of Icebergs; Iluliisat
Transfer from hotel to Ilulissat Airport. Flight with Air Iceland direct to Reykjavik Domestic Airport.

Eqi Camp: All cuttages have direct view to the active glacier. Every cuttage have own toilet (no drain), beds, balcony. All you need to bring along is personal belongings as toothbrush etc..

Hotel Hans Egede****, Nuuk

Hotel Hans Egede is a modern and comfortable conference hotel which is located in the heart of Nuuk the capital of Greenland with a fantastic view of mountains and the entrance to Godthåbsfjord.
The hotel has 140 modern rooms and 10 well-equipped hotel apartments each with a kitchen, a bathroom and laundry facilities. There is free access to 12 TV channels in all rooms and apartments.
M/S Sarfaq Ittuk (onboard)
The vessel was built in 1992 and modernized and lengthened in the winter of 1999/2000. She is now 73 meters long and 11 meters wide. With her engine of 2000 hp the vessels steams at a speed of 13 knots. The crew counts 22 people.
The vessel has cafeteria, stern saloon with panorama windows, playroom and a hospital clinic to be used in case of injuries and emergency situations onboard.
The vessel's capacity is 249 passengers. The overnight accommodation facilities are distributed on:
- 104 cabin beds with private bath and toilet all cabins are outside and with a big window
- 85 4-person compartment seats and 60 couchettes.

In the very heart of Ilulissat and still with a great view to the Icefiord. Cozy and warm atmosphere. 2 minutes of walk to the city center and tourist information offices.
