    • The online ticket sale fee is 90 DKK per booking
    • The onboard ticket sale fee is 250 DKK per booking
    • Thirdparty fees are independent of Arctic Umiaq Line

  • GO tickets
    • A GO ticket can not be modified or canceled and is locked to the purchased itinerary and passenger.
    • Discount services do not apply to GO tickets.
    • It is not possible to upgrade purchased products with a locked GO ticket.
      • Example: It is impossible to upgrade from a Couchette to a Couchette Premium with a locked GO ticket.
  • STANDARD tickets
    • A STANDARD ticket can be modified up to 24 hours before departure for a change fee of 90 DKK per booking.
    • A STANDARD ticket can be changed to the rotation before or to the rotation after the booked rotation, as long as the rotation before or after has an identical sailing schedule as the booked rotation, for a change fee of 90 DKK per booking + difference in the price of the ticket.
      • If the rotation before the booked rotation is different, the booking can not be changed to the rotation before.
      • If the rotation after the booked rotation is different, the booking can not be changed to the rotation after.
      • If the rotation before and after the booked rotation differs, the booking can not be changed to before or after.
      • If the ticket price is higher in the changed rotation, the difference in the ticket price is paid by the customer at the same time as the customer pays a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
      • If the ticket price is lower in the changed rotation, the difference in the ticket price is refunded to the customer at the same time that the customer pays a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
    • The price of the STANDARD ticket has a gradual cancellation refund from 90% of the ticket price to 0% of the ticket price, depending on the time of cancellation before the original departure time. There are no refunds for tickets canceled less than 24 hours before departure.
    • Discount services apply to STANDARD tickets.
    • It is possible to upgrade or downgrade the purchased product.
      • For example, you can upgrade from a Couchette to a Couchette Premium with a STANDARD ticket for a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking. It is also possible to downgrade e.g. from a Couchette Premium to a Couchette with a STANDARD ticket for a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
  • FLEX tickets
    • A FLEX ticket can be changed up to 24 hours before departure for a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
    • A FLEX ticket can be freely changed to a new itinerary for a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking + a difference in the ticket price.
      • If the ticket price is higher in the changed itinerary, the price difference must be paid at the same time as the customer paying a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
      • If the ticket price is lower in the changed itinerary, the price difference is refunded to the customer at the same time that the customer pays a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
    • The price of the FLEX ticket has a gradual refund from 100% of the ticket price to 90% of the ticket price, depending on the time of cancellation before departure. There are no refunds for tickets canceled less than 24 hours before departure.
    • Discount services apply to FLEX tickets.
    • It is possible to upgrade or downgrade the purchased product for a change fee of DKK 90.00 per booking.
  • Voyages in Junior Suites between June 1st, 2024 and October 19th, 2024
    • All three round trips in Junior Suites from June 1, 2024, to October 19, 2024, from Nuuk to Nuuk are based on FLEX tickets; however, they are fixed to the three round trip products.
      • It is possible to change to another of the three round-trip products.
      • It is impossible to change to another itinerary outside the three round trip products.
  • Cancellation rules
    • Part or all of the ticket price can be refunded if it is a STANDARD or FLEX ticket and canceled at least 24 hours before the originally booked departure time. The degree of refund depends on the ticket type and the cancellation time in relation to the original booked departure time.

    • Refund rate for a GO ticket when the cancellation takes place:
      • 90 days or more before original departure time: 0%
      • 60-89 days before original departure time: 0%
      • 30-59 days before original departure time: 0%
      • 7-29 days before original departure time: 0%
      • 24 hours – 6 days before original departure time: 0%
      • Less than 24 hours before original departure time: 0%
      • No-show: 0%
      Refund rate for a STANDARD ticket when the cancellation takes place:
      • 90 days or more before original departure time: 90%
      • 60-89 days before original departure time: 80%
      • 30-59 days before original departure time: 60%
      • 7-29 days before original departure time: 40%
      • 24 hours – 6 days before original departure time: 20%
      • Less than 24 hours before original departure time: 0%
      • No-show: 0%
      • Refund fee per passenger per route: DKK 90.00
      Refund rate for a FLEX ticket when the cancellation takes place:
      • 90 days or more, before original departure time: 100%
      • 60-89 days before original departure time: 100%
      • 30-59 days before original departure time: 100%
      • 7-29 days before original departure time: 90%
      • 24 hours – 6 days before original departure time: 90%
      • Less than 24 hours before original departure time: 0%
      • No-show: 0%
      • Refund fee per passenger per route: DKK 90.00
      Refund rate for additional products, such as meals, blankets, Wi-Fi and Excursions, when the cancellation occurs:
      • 30 days or more before original departure time: 100%
      • 7-29 days before original departure time: 50%
      • Less than 7 days before original departure time: 0%
      • No-show: 0%Refund fee on additional products: DKK 0
    • Fees such as sales and change fees are non-refundable, regardless of ticket type.

  • Discount services
    • Discount services do not apply to a GO ticket.
    • Discount services are not applicable to fees.
    • Discount services do not apply to cabins and suites.
    • Discounts apply to Entre, Berth, and Berth Premium products.
    • Child discounts:
      • From 0 to 24 months: 100% discount on the ticket price
      • From 2 to 12 years: 50% discount on the ticket price

    • Retired with residence in Greenland
      • Age pensioner in low, mid and high season: 50% discount on the ticket price
      Early retiree in low and mid-season: 50% discount on the ticket price
    • Early retiree in high season: 25% of the ticket price
      • A pensioner’s card must be presented when buying a ticket or shortly afterwards, before departure
      The discount does not apply retroactively if the journey has begun

  • Luggage
    • Baggage is limited to 30 kg. per person for travelers in Entrance, Berth, Berth Premium or Cabin.Baggage is limited to 60 kg. per person for travelers in Suites.Baggage may only include ordinary luggage such as suitcases, bags, sacks etc.Extra luggage costs DKK 10.00 per kg. + a fee of DKK 200.00.
